Exploring Identity in The Giver

During my student-teaching practicum, I wrote and taught a ten-week unit centered on Lois Lowry's novel, The Giver. We investigated aspects of identity, including how our identities shape our views of the world around us and how our communities influence us.  Explore highlights of the unit on this page.
